3 x 39 shinai can easily fit in the same direction. Additionally, when you remove the Tsuba, two wooden swords (daito and kodachi) can fit together.
With a zipper that fully opens from top to bottom, inserting and removing the Shinai is incredibly easy. Whether you're standing or sitting, quick and smooth insertion and removal are possible with minimal effort. Furthermore, since it can be opened all the way to the opposite side, selecting a Shinai is also convenient.
